dogs in hotels

Some hotels state 'dogs allowed in bench'. I think I'm misunderstanding the translation. What do the hotels mean when they say 'bench'?

Hi!

I don't know that bench is the correct translation (as you can see, my english is far from good !) The bench they are talking about is a sort of cage (in metal or an other material) that you can fold up and where you can put the dogs in. So it's the owner of the dogs who have to bring the benches with them.
